Per la propria sede operativa, Coolstoodio ha scelto la trasformazione di spazi in precedenza occupati da un laboratorio artigiano. Lo spazio è unitario e fluido, imperniato su un elemento centrale iconico: una parete in acciaio nero cerato che ospita il logo dello studio e conserva l’archivio delle opere in corso. Sono state praticate nuove e più grandi aperture per consentire spazi di lavoro più confortevoli ed aumentare la spazialità dei luoghi. Particolare attenzione è stata rivolta alla libreria: elementi in sottile lamiera metallica e legno occupano un’intera parete con un disegno irregolare, enfatizzando il contenuto della libreria e rendendolo esso stesso materiale costitutivo dello spazio.

For its headquarters, Coolstoodio chose a space previously occupied by a workshop. The space is unified and fluid, based on a central iconic piece: a wall made ​​of black waxed iron, hosting the logo of the study and the archive of works in progress. New and larger openings have been practiced to allow more comfortable workspaces and increase spatiality of places. Particular attention has been paid to the library: elements in thin sheet metal and wood occupy an entire wall with an irregular design, emphasizing the contents of the library and making it the same constituent material of the space.
